Glossybox – July!

Glossy Box – July!

I received my July edition of Glossy Box this month and to sum it up its basically summer in a box. As a skin care lover this box was made for me so well done glossy box, I’m impressed again! The box contained two products that I have fallen in love with and will be purchasing in full this pay day. I also loved the packaging! It has such a mermaid feel to it and the pun on the side of the box is just me all over “Happiness comes in waves” … LOL

*Again, I am only reviewing the products in this box that I liked so if you want to know about anything that I didn’t write about please just ask*

What products did I love this time?

  1. Palmer’s – Coconut Oil Body Lotion

Where have you been all of my life? I can stress enough on how much I LOVE this product. For me I’ve always used The Body Shops Shea butter body lotion, but this product is honestly giving it a run for its money! The smell and formulation just work so well together, it’s soft to the skin and makes you smell of coconuts! Fully priced at £5.75 for 400ml I think this is going to become a new favourite of mine.

  1. Essence – I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Waterproof

I live for mascara and always have. This is because as you all know I suffer with sensitive skin, so I rarely use lots of make-up. However, mascara has always been to my go to, it’s the only product other than foundation that I buy “high end” (is no.7 high end? It has a counter so I’m guessing so?) so this mascara I wasn’t holding out high hopes. Wrong again Rosie. I loved this product also, it transformed my lashes, made them bold without being clunky and made them pop! Full size in store for £2.80, another penny saver I think we’ve just found.

  1. Hawaiian Tropic – Duo Defence Sun Lotion SPF 30

If you live in the UK, you’ll know that we are currently in the middle of a heat wave, so this product came in handy when we had a BBQ at the weekend. Not only did it protect me from the sun it also made my skin feel smooth and left me smelling… the only way I can think of that describes the smell is tropical Robinsons fruit juice. Full sized price is £14.99 for 180ml… you decide!

I for one know I will be ordering the first two products and am so glad that Glossy Box introduced me to them. For the other products it’s not that I don’t like them it’s just I won’t use them.

The brush bristles are lovely, but I don’t contour, the toothpaste I’m yet to try and the hair spray… I already have curly hair, so I’d be extremely bias. If you want me to try any of them or would like to know anything about them then please just ask in the comments or email me at

I can’t wait for the next box!
