Blogging goals 2019

I’ve seen this blog post going around lately and I don’t know who started it so I can’t give credits unfortunately. I know I’m also a little late to this since It’s February but still, I’d like to set myself some goals this year when it comes to blogging.

Number One

I’d like to up my writing game. I’m not a natural born writer so I still make some grammatical errors. I’d like to take more time with reviewing blog posts before I upload them to make sure there aren’t silly little mistakes.

Number Two

I’d like to drop my beauty section of my blog and focus more on travel, bipolar and Open University. Not that I don’t enjoy beauty anymore, I LOVE it, I’m just not as passionate about it anymore when it comes to writing. Plus I think there are so many more amazing beauty bloggers out there that you can read and who actually know what they are talking about.

Who knows though, maybe I’ll do a beauty section for travelling? Would you actually read that? I know I would. Maybe an idea for the future.

Number Three

I want to completely revamp my branding. However, with this one I’ve already started so I wont’ talk about it much. You’ll just have to wait and see!

Number Four

I want to take better photos and more photos. I always use my iphone for photography because I think the quality isn’t actually that bad. However, I don’t take enough. I’m very much a live in the moment person, so the last thing I think of is to take my phone out and photograph it.

Number Five

Make more time for my blog. I used to use the excuse that I was studying and working a 9-5 job and that was the reason I couldn’t blog so much. However, now? I’m taking time off to travel south east asia! When I’m in airports or on long ferries, I’m promising now to blog more. I aim to blog at least once a week going forward.

With all of this, I’d hope to get more blog views and some more social followers! What are your blogging goals for 2019? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me at Rosiesxblog!

  1. I like your goal about taking better photos! I’m not very good at all at taking photos so I use free stock images but I’d love to learn how to take professional looking images for my own blog! X

  2. I actually think #4 is a great thing (maybe not for IG, but to hell with IG). So many people take pictures of every little instead of living in the moment. I guess you have to find a balance! But if you’re going to SE Asia, you are obliged to take pictures lol
